Text messages
Updated 19 October 2026
Scopebond is a product of Avouro LLC (Okemos, Michigan, United States). This page describes every text message Scopebond sends, how a person agrees to receive them, and how to stop them. The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy apply to them.
What we send
- A verification code, once, when a person adds or changes the mobile number on their Scopebond account.
- A sign-in code each time that person signs in, only if they turned on "Text me a code when I sign in" in Settings.
These are account-security messages that the person asks for. We do not send marketing, promotions or alerts by text, and we never text a number its owner did not add and verify themselves.
How often
One message per code requested. How many depends on how often the person signs in; most people get a few a month. Message and data rates may apply.
How people agree
A person signed in to their own Scopebond account opens Settings → My account → Mobile number → Add a number (or the "Verify your mobile number" step when setting up their account), types their number and ticks a consent box that is not ticked in advance. The Text me a code button stays off until the box is ticked, and Scopebond records the time and the wording version of each consent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. The form looks like this:
Stop or get help
- STOP: reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from that number. You can also remove your number in Settings → My account, which stops texts and turns off text-message sign-in.
- HELP: reply HELP, or email support@scopebond.com.
If you stop texts while text-message sign-in is on, sign in with an authenticator app instead, or email support@scopebond.com and we will help you back into your account.
Your number
We use your mobile number only to send the codes above and to confirm it's you. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Google Firebase sends and checks the codes for us (see Subprocessors). Removing the number, deleting your account or asking us to erase your data deletes it.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
